
Holiday Lime Cooler Cookies

Prep: 15 minutes Bake: 11 minutes/batch Cool: 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 2 cups (4 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 T grated lime peel
- 1 t Vanilla
- Granulated sugar
- Lime Glaze (recipe below)

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. In large bowl, beat butter and powdered sugar on medium speed, or mix with spoon. Stir in four, cornstarch, lime peel and vnilla until well blended.

Shape dough in 3/4 inch balls. Place about 2 " apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Press bottom of glass into dough to grease, then dip into granulated sugar; press on dough balls until 1/4" thick.

Spread Lime glaze over cookies. Squeeze drops of decorating gel on glazed cookies; drag toothpick through gel for marbled design.
- Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
Lime Glaze: Stir tigether 1 cup owdered sugar and 2 Tablespoons Key lime juice. Stir in additional juice if necessary.
